The Field Larks, Analeise Reeves (of Monroe, LA) and Keely Raquel (of Panama City Beach, FL) came to Nashville separately, in pursuit of the recording artist dream. Following a chance encounter at a Nashville Sounds baseball game, where Keely was performing the National Anthem, the two quickly realized that their paths were more than just parallel; they were one in the same.
The spunky blonde bombshells spent the next few weeks writing and singing together. It was clear that the way their voices had an undeniable blend was the making of something special.
One of the first songs they wrote, “The Light Weight (Skinnygirl)”, made its way on the blog of Bethenny Frankel, creator of Skinnygirl products. A music video was spawned, and attracted the attention of several music row insiders.
In early 2013, the Field Larks signed with Big Yellow Dog music. They continue to spend their time songwriting and playing shows locally, building on rapidly increasing buzz.
